1992-1995: Graduate student, Chemistry Department, Moscow State University
1993-present: reviewer-translator, Russian State Institute of Scientific
Information, Computational Biology Division.
AWARDS:
First bonus at student conference in analytical chemistry section (1989).
Second bonus at student conference in enzymology and chemical kinetics
section (1990).
The member of Chemistry Faculty Council (student representative), 1989-1990
Lenin scholarship (highest student scholarship in Soviet high education).
1990.
ISF (Soros) Grants, 1994-1995
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Structure and functional analysis of protein sequences:
Also, I apply a new statistical approach to analysis of dependence of functional property on amino acid composition in a peptide set. It is especially promising for identifying key residues (mostly influencing on properties) in random peptide libraries and protein families divided by functional, evolution, or other criteria.
